03 septembre 2026 - 06:47 Since 1 September, children living in temporary accommodation in Manchester and Stockport have been able to benefit from free travel on Bee Network buses to get to school. The measure is designed to make it easier for young people from families facing housing insecurity to attend school, particularly when they are forced to live far from their school. The scheme applies in particular to pupils who are housed more than two miles, or around 3.2 kilometres, from their school.
